BALTIC SEA on way to Germany

The bike is secured and ready for the trip

The sea was rough and windy for the whole 26 and a half hour trip from Helsinki to Rostock

The main lounge/bar was almost empty, there weren't many people on the ship.

GERMANY

Baltic Sea, some fresh snow

There was a lot of snow in Dresden and on the day of departure the forecast was for about -10 degrees

CZECH REPUBLIC

Just crossed through into Czech Republic through the tunnel and over some hills then stopped here for a hot chocolate break to warm up and let the feet defrost.

Vltava River that flows through Prague, This is the longest river in the Czech Republic.

2nd December, It snowed most of the night and the weather says it is about -13 degrees

It was another cold ride on the way to Brno from Prague, about a 200km ride. I was constantly scraping ice of the helmets visor to try and keep some sort of visibility and every 60kms stopping at a petrol station to let my feet defrost. 

SLOVAKIA

Ice hockey match in Bratislava at the Samsung Arena. It was a good atmosphere and little older style, sitting on wooden benches drinking half litre beers for 1€.

On the way to Budapest, Hungary. This day I had it all.. rain, a mini snow storm and sunshine. I even had a fall and took a slide along the ground. Compacted fresh snow can be slippery!


HUNGARY

Looking back to Štúrovo, Slovakia after crossing over the Danube River which is the second longest river in Europe after the Volga River.

On the way to Szeged on a nice sunny day.

Tisza River which flows through Szeged, Hungary. The river had risen so high that this lower road was completely covered with water.

Leaving Szeged on the way to Serbia, it was about -2 and the closer I got to Serbia it started to snow.
